Stolz auf meine neue Anna Scholz!

Yesterday a big change happened : it is my first outfit pictures taken outdoors AND by someone.

I went with a good friend to an exhibition and I asked her to take some pictures for the blog.. they are indeed more lively than my usual pictures and it was fun to do...

I choosed my new Anna Scholz dress. I was recently in Berlin and could visit the Anna Scholz shop in Mitte, it was a delight, the place is vast and the choice of clothes is huge. The changing rooms are also big and well designed, so that you can move around.

I browsed the website several times before going there in person to get familiar with the 2 collections (Black Label and White Label). Anna Schloz is definately not afraid of using patterns and colors and very nice fabrics. The only minus is the price range...

So I had to stay on my budget and I opted for this dress : I love its colors, very autumnish and its form.

Here is a detail of the draped back.

And details of the sides

The exhibition place has a nice hidden garden on its side, a very narrow garden with a wood plateform to walk on.

purple tight : We love colors
plateform shoes : Jeffrey Campbell (size 10)... a bit too big...

Eureka! ***retro-blogging***

I bought this dress last summer and I couldn't figure out a good way to wear it : I did like this and like that... and none of the solutions suited me.

But with the help of my magical red belt, I can say : Eureka! The dress has a fabric panel on the front that gives a floppy aspect, and the belt helps to structure the line.

I also realised I can't wear it without a skirt, since it is too short for me.

a very good fashion faux pas ***retro-blogging***

Ok... this is what I've previously called a" WTF outfit"...

Those kind of photos reminds me that I should really buy a big big BIG mirror instead of taking snaps of my outfits and going in the streets dressed like this.

I feel everything is wrong with this outfit... from head to toe...
Let's try to be scientific :
the jacket doesn't match the dress
the dress is too short to be worn without a skirt
the ski pants doesn't match with the wedges
the flower in the hair doesn't match the global outfit

Let's all learn from my mistakes!!

jacket : H&m (size 50)
altered sequin ribcage dress : Rodarte for Target
ski pants : Asos (size 22)
buckled wedges : Jeffrey Campbell (size 9)
studded bag : a little shop in my street, no tag
black rose in the hair : H&M

back in black...

I sweared to myself I should stop wearing black and start enjoying colors and pattern... which I kind of did.. but times to times I can't help going back to my old habits.
I bought this dress during the winter and haven't worn it a lot yet... Today is sunny and a bit chilly so it will be perfect...

Meet my new Jeffrey Campbell!

HHiiiiii... I bought a new pair of Jeffrey Campbell on ebay.. It was unfortunetely not exactly my size (10 instead of 9) but I couldn't resist and was sure I could figure out a solution to make them fit my feet...

Well, they are very comfortable but I still haven't found the perfect solution, i added an extra sole but the heel is still a bit loose. If anyone has an idea, don't hesitate to let me know...

shy DIY Jeffrey Campbell project

This is obviously a very creative week... I've been DIYing everyday.

This is no secret that I'm obsessed with the over expensive Jeffrey Campbell shoes.
I bought this pair of black summer wedges, and since it is a bit too loose I decided to add a elastic band and some thumbtacks.

I cut 2 elastic bands, glued them to the shoes with neoprene glue.

I had to put pressure on the glue a whole night.

And the morning after, I could fix some thumbtacks with a hammer on the elastic bands.
I have to admit this DIY is a little bit shy but I will try to find a new cheap pair of wedges and customise it in a more dramatic way!

blackish wenesday...

I had a rather formal appointment today, so I went classical, all black except the socks!

I also found this a-little-bit-too-small red jacket in the closet.. as the weather was fine, I could wear it...

skinny black jeans : Asos (size 26)

another monday, same colours

Looking back at my outfit pictures, I realised I'm really obsessed by black and red..

Also since this week end, I started a vide dressing in the VLR website... I'm cleaning my closets, and letting go the clothes I'm not wearing anymore..

I also started a Flickr account in order to post in the fatshionista group ...I'm so happy I did it, it almost felt like a coming out....

Yum Yum

This morning, I received the package of yummy jewellery I ordered this week-end at nanou creation in A little market. Here I'm wearing the liquorice roll necklace and the "religieuse" earrings. Religieuse is a typical french pastry, filled with cream.. Yummy....
Apart from clothes I've already worn, it's the first try for the purple wide belt from Dorothy Perkins.

skirt : Yours clothing (size 24... now I have to tuck it with a safety pin at the waist, otherwise it is too large
