wtf outfit again

On my way to a bar to meet some friends, I was oscillating between comfy outfit and a little bit dressed up.. so I considered it ended up in the wft outfit category.. but I kinda like it.

I wear my Beth Ditto favorite jumper, with a Asos red ponti dress that I turned into a skirt and I put on comfy and warm shoes!

The animal print dress dilemma

By reading other blogs, I discovered Sweat faced Style's love for animal print and she really made me consider buying an animal print dress.

So I found a dress a few time ago on Evans and ordered it.. but since then, I really don't know how to style it, I'm never happy with the final results.

One big problem, the cleavage is too low on the breast, so I can't wear it as a proper dress, I have to had a t-shirt.

Also, I really don't know what's wrong.. maybe it is the pattern is too light..maybe the general shape doesn't fit my body...maybe I picked the wrong shoes...



The 1st attempt was with black leggings, a black jumper with a wide belt and a little animal print scarf.. It was a bit sad, and my face isn't helping too!!



Then I decided to pimp it up with some colors and added the purple tights and the purple wide blet.. Still wasn't convinced



Then I tought that maybe the black jumper was too big so I took him off and add a long sleeve black t-shirt and put the purple wide dress directly on the dress...

As I was relly getting late and had to go away, I made up my mind on this last outfit.. but maybe this kind of patters is simply not for me.. or I could maybe alterred the dress..

I'll keep you update with my new ideas on this very important issue!!

Very late Ditto post...

Of course, as any sane fatshionista, I jumped on the Ditto collection as soon as it was online.
Especially because last year I've had a bad experience, my package got lost and once I realised it, all my favorite pieces were sold out .. (I'm still looking for the purple sequin dress on ebay but alas...haven't found it yet..)

So this year, I bought my favorite piece on the 1st day. I usually always wait for a reduction code or for the sales, but I was sure the polka dot dress would go realllly fast.

I'm still so pissed about the black and red chevron dress policy that Evans did : exclusivity.
Come one! Evans is not a haute couture brand.. I thought it was unnecessarily frustrating for us, fatshionistas.



The dress is just perfect, but a bit too short on me. I've combined it with the pencil black skirt from Asos and of course, my usual red belt.
I also bought the black Ditto leggings. They are nicely high waisted but after having worn them for one day, they get a little bit too loose. For the moment, nothing has beaten the black Carmakoma leggings!

I'm really happy I transformed this old pair of white jean into a skirt.. It is a perfect match for too-short dress (as the floral one from Asos) and too-large vest (from Evans).

Pink Flamingos!!

Here it is! My first real summer dress....
It is white.. it is short... it has a very strong animal pattern...
As the heatwave is back in Paris, it s the perfect outfit for today.

the ony problem, is the zipper on the side, it hurts the armpit a little bit...

Now that I have discovered the perfect anti chaffing shorts, I really enjoy wearing dresses.
I bought this one in my last Evans order.
I love the shape : the straps are wide enough, the lenght is also really good : in some recent dress I bougt , I have to wear a capri.. This one is really flattering, just around the knee.
And the pattern is cute : the different shaped dots give a cinematic effect...

It is really easy to just grab this one in the morning and tadam, you're ready..

a taste of holidays..

I'll be working all summer long, therefore I need to get a little taste of holidays..
So here is a beach pattern vest. I'm really not into blue, I don't know why, I don't like this color but I had a litlle crush on the vest when I saw it online.

And i'm not disappointed : the pattern is really pretty, the material is soft and light, perfect for summer.

This morning, in my Evans package, I also received the comfort short I ordered and let me tell you it is perfect : the length is good (3/4 on the thigh) the material is perfect (a mix of nylon, cotton elasthane) and last but not least it is quite cheap (5£).

Nothing new here : another bad hair day with my 2 hits of the winter the Beth Ditto batman sweater and the Yours tulip skirt.

I finally received the Beth Ditto batwing spiderman jumper from Evans today.
It's was really worth the wait and it is as beautiful in real life than online.

My romance with Evans can then start again.

And at last, the 2 final pieces from my monday packages.

The silver bubble dress from Yours (size 22/24). It is way shorter than I expected, I tried it first as a dress with black leggings ..



.. and since I didn't felt so good, I'm positively sure I'll wear it as a top with a black pants...





The last piece is a red biker jacket from Dorothy Perkins (size 22) which is a really good surprise as the fabric is really soft as velvet.





The only cloud in this shopping heaven is the package from Evans hasn't arrived yet...
Evans and I have a doomed relationship : my first order never arrived and it took me more than 3 months to be fully reimbursed (and an impressive amount of emails to their customer service).
I never fully recovered from not being able to have the Beth Ditto purple sequin dress that went out of stock just after my order! I still need retail therapy!

I'm of an optimistic nature, so I tried again.. and I made the order to DP and Evans (which are the same business) the same day and the DP package arrived monday.
Let's hope it will arrive soon...
