Low Key Outfit

Ok.. so today I had no imagination and was a bit lazy... So this outfit is part of what I would call the family of the boring outfits.
I just dig into a pile of black clothes that are all over my dressing..
I had the extreme courage to grap a purple t-shirt and accessories with my mustache necklace and new earrings from H&M..

Sorry my camera does strange dots on the pictures!

a very good fashion faux pas ***retro-blogging***

Ok... this is what I've previously called a" WTF outfit"...

Those kind of photos reminds me that I should really buy a big big BIG mirror instead of taking snaps of my outfits and going in the streets dressed like this.

I feel everything is wrong with this outfit... from head to toe...
Let's try to be scientific :
the jacket doesn't match the dress
the dress is too short to be worn without a skirt
the ski pants doesn't match with the wedges
the flower in the hair doesn't match the global outfit

Let's all learn from my mistakes!!

jacket : H&m (size 50)
altered sequin ribcage dress : Rodarte for Target
ski pants : Asos (size 22)
buckled wedges : Jeffrey Campbell (size 9)
studded bag : a little shop in my street, no tag
black rose in the hair : H&M

stepford wife

I received 2 packages yesterday : one from Asos et one from Dorothy Perkins..
I will slowly post the outfits in august..

here is the 1st one : I really developped a new passion for retro dresses and dots... this one combines both...
the dress is a little too short, I have to wear it with legging and also the top of the dress is a bit loose, but still really stylish...

I also tried to smile.. mmmmm... I look a little bit constipated... It s not so easy to look natural while smiling on camera.. especially when you use the timer

and to complete the stepford wife style, here is a big sequin hair bow...

dress : Dorothy Perkins (size 22)
belt : Carmakoma

safety pins DIY skull skirt

Recently, I've been browsing a lot of DIY webistes and I wanted to do something with safety pins.
I used an old black skirt to apply this safety pins skull..
I like the result though it is a bit heavy now.

On a very simple black skirt, I draw a skull pattern and started to assemble the safety pins together without any special method.

Diy in action!

A few weeks ago, I transformed a not really flattering white jean into a skirt.
I'm still thinking of pushing the customisation with cherry or strawberry patches. For the moment, it's still plain white.

Yeah! springtime..... ahum.. in fact.... no

As anyone, I was so optimistic about the weather, I started wearing my new top from Debenhams... and tadahhh cold is back... I don't care.. I still try to work my spring outfit.

It's also a personal revolution, since I never wear patterned clothes. This is my 1st attempt. It was supposed to be a dress, but I'll probably wear it as a top with a legging.

Here I'm trying to feel the Hula vibe, but my happy face is really far from any hawaian happiness!!!

Here is a new necklace, made from big wooden pearls that emphasize the pacific vibe.

top : Debenhams (size 22)
short legging : Carisal (size 54)
