strapless fever is going on

And here is the last Asos dress I received a few times back...

It is supposed to be a dress but let me say that it is not wearable as a dress for me, I tried it with a short legging and it was still too short.

I eventually opted for a pencil skirt.

Strapless heaven

A few weeks ago, I bought a strapless bra to be able to wear the hawaian cocktail dress from Asos..
and I must say I really enjoy going out strapless.

I bought a little tube top from Asos in my last order and another tube dress that will soon appear in another post.

Not feeling really inspired this morning... I tried to color up this little black dress..

Color feast!

Here it is... One more piece from my last Asos order.

I had my eyes on this dress for a long time and was also waiting a discount code to get it. Lots of fatshion bloggers also bought it and reviewed it.

I was a bit disappointed at first by the quality of the fabric : it is very light and synthetic.
But I really love the pattern mixing black and white dots and very saturated floral.

Also the waist is really high..so high that it doesn't look good without a belt.



I don't think I should wear it without belt or short pants...

Air Office

I'm working at home those days and I try to at least dress in the morning to really get the feeling of "going at work"... instead I just basically go to the other room.

I did a new Asos order this monday, which arrived really quickly (thursday afternoon.) It seems incredibly efficient to me.
I used the good deal page from Letilor's blog... it is a gold mine. I got a 15% discount for my order at Asos...

Today, I'm showing the new red wegdes and the new black cardigan. The rest will be shown in the coming days... Yummy....





This cardigan is really perfect for mid seasons and shitty june weather like today.

Variations of an outfit...

Today I went through a very girlie and personal process : the variations of an outfit...
it is nearly a scientific explanation to this question : why are girls always late?

I start to dress like this : white skirt and purple top, quite simple...



I took a picture and decided something was missing : a belt.. so I used my Dorothy Perkins turquoise and purple belt..



And finalised it with a red jacket...





Then I wanted to change the skirt.. and wore the DIY safety pin skull skirt.



I put back on the red jacket... hummm but something was wrong...



The belt and the skull didn't match : different colors, different pattern...



So I took off the belt and it looked better






and tadah.... I was eventually happy with my outfit...
but was kind of late....

First Asos Bliss of June...

I've been drooling on this dress since it is available on Asos... I was sure it was the perfect fit for my pattern needs. I invested saturday on a strapless bra : and I really mean invest because the bra in itself is more expensive that all the outfit!! but it was worth it.

I must say I check the Asos collection frequently and they are really killing it..
Though the beginnings were disappointing, they now propose a huge range of clothes with various price.

The only minus is that it is more a top than a real dress, I don't imagine I could wear it without legging ou crops.

I sweared to myself I should stop wearing black and start enjoying colors and pattern... which I kind of did.. but times to times I can't help going back to my old habits.

Birthday i do what i want outfit...

Today is my birthday and i was on my way to an open air concert in a big park in Paris to hear one of my favorite band of the moment, thee oh sees, a garage combo from San Francisco..
Though it was in the afternoon, I dressed up and my hand was quite heavy on make up I think....
anyway, it was my birthday, I did what I wanted...

Beginning of the sun...

After a crazy work week in Cairo, I came back to Paris and it was at last super sunny.... Perfect, beause I really wanted to show some skin!
